This was my favourite app before you guys messed it up now I can only talk to people in my age group and only see people who speak the language I want to learn most people on hello talk want to learn more than one language this app is garbage now if you guys dont change it your downloads will go down by a lot please change things up because I actually used to love this app

Since the last update I can barely use this app, it keeps crashing upon opening. It used to be amazing, now there are too many problems and restrictions.

If you are learning a language I definitely recommend getting this app!!! It is a very good learning tool to be able to speak to a native speaker of a language I Am learning. Everyone is very nice on Hellotalk, and it is very easy to make many friends c:

This app helps me learn like no others. It has a publication page just like status on facebook and instant messages to talk with someone privately. I recommend this app for anyone wishing to learn another language.

Language exchange on your phone or tablet. This lets you type, send voice recordings, pictures, doodles, and even call directly. What a fantastic app! Very easy to find other language learners! It took some courage to send your first language partner request, but then it just flows so easily! Partners gave me very valuable speaking advice when I went to Japan!

Hello Talk is not just an app, its access to a vibrant community of language learners. It has an exceptional community particularly for Japanese language learners, with convenient built-in tools for translation, editing and correction. Its a language exchange cafe in your pocket!

The app is great when it comes to meeting new people and making friends but now, the app wont even load and I dont even receive any notifications. And I know that if I reinstall the app, it wont backup my chats. I dont know how to fix it so please help!

The app is very useful and I loved it except for the fact you can create one account per device. If you forget your email password then its impossible to reset Hellotalk password to login. Which is why I gave it 1 star. Not fair at all. The rule maybe their to prevent abuse and misuse but sucks for those who forgot their password after a long time inactivity.

The downside to the app is that some users are not using the app to learn a language, but Ive had a good experience with the app so far.

Honestly such a great app if you want to connect with people who want to learn your language and want to teach you theirs. Its people just like you who may be shy or dont have money for lessons or school. This is the best way to learn because it is in real time with real people. Highly highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn a new language and meet people who want to do the same!

An excellent way to meet native speakers. Has some safety features to deter unsavoury types.

Its a fantastic idea and Im sure it will get even better in time. There are glitches. Eg it shows me part of a conversation on one device and another part on the other device - it doesnt sync a conversation across devices. It looks like the developer is heading toward aggressive advertising alas. Eg you get a notification to tell you theres a new ad for an app in hello talk! Come on!! Monetize sensibly. Use subtlety!

I had the HelloTalk on my phone for 3 months and never used it. Last night, I decided to start learning seriously and finally spent the whole afternoon learning, practicing and sharing greatly with amazing people all around the world. This app is so useful & it really makes the task definitely more enjoyable!
