Great learning tool, allowed me to practice and make friends in the countries that I will be visiting.

It is nice to meet people from around the world and be able to practice your language skills! Great app!

Ive downloaded a lot of different Social Apps over the course of 5 years and since then, many of those apps regardless of their purest concepts have failed very greatly in implementing and protecting the dignity and respect of all users. I wont mention any particular apps because its not the developers per-say. Many communities were build on the idea that you meet people, make friends, and help each other out. This app does just that. What comes with the territory is less respectful people who find their way in and make rude comments or send rude messages to people. I think any talk of politics should be neutralized in this app because its irrelevant and we see how different people are in there political views-which causes arguments and offensive conduct. HelloTalk is amazing and I want to make sure it stays clean and free from any users that might violate terms and conditions by any offensive conduct. There are many people from all around the world seeking true friendships and opportunities to learn as much as they can. We need to maintain and clean and approachable learning environment. For the longest time Ive been wanting a "twitter for language exchange" and one day I found this thru Rachel&Jun in YT!! Its literally perfect, its an aesthetically pleasing app, compact, useful, and easy!! Highly recommend for people who want to practice practical usage of their foreign language :D

This is an incredibly helpful and useful app. People are VERY active on here, and if your native tongue is English you will get a lot of people from other languages (mostly the Romance languages) messaging you. Its a bit like Facebook for people learning new languages. Fun and easy to use, and the membership option is very cheap, too. Its great, even if you dont subscribe.

This makes language learning fun and interactive. So many people to meet and everyone helps each other out! I recommend it to anyone learning a language.

It took only a few minutes playing around with the app to see how many helpful features it has for language learning and communication. There are always many people on, reach to chat. And Im seeing my Spanish improve quickly.

Really good for pen pals/language/culture exchange. Premium is definitely worth it since you get to add on more languages. No complaints.

Not a single app I own cost $75, and I looking at market; i cant justify the cost nor understand why the price is so high for "unlimited" use. Theres a huge potential here, but it may never be reached because of that "pay wall" another reviewer mentioned.

I cant change my age on my profile and its totally wrong. Id like to have correct info when Im talking to people but theres a setting that doesnt allow you to change any info about age/country/gender. Id like to have this fixed please!

This app is great for chatting and audio messaging. I havent used the phone feature. I am worried about my actual phone number being accessible to my language partner or even this app. Has anyone had this issue?

This app is the easy and fun way to learn a language. This increased my language abilities by 50%!!
