HelloTalk - Language Learning App Reviews

This app has awesome potential.... But, Im constantly logged out right in the middle of doing something and then wont let me log back in for a while. It tells me to check my network connection or that the data server cannot be found. There is nothing wrong with my wifi connection as everything else works just fine. This has happened close to 30 times in one day. Not cool... And very irritating...

Many freezes, slow loading, crashes, difficulty connecting, etc. Even interferes with phones normal functioning (switching tasks, unlocking). To top it off, "I had dinner with Taiwanese friends last night" is an offense that can get your account suspended as it offends the sensibilities of the Chinese owners.

Its a great app to meet many people, from all over the world. Everyone is looking into learning something, i really like it.

Was working ok but lagging before the update, now it crashes during any menu or setting changes. Unusable, will wait for next update.

I have an IPhone4, it was working well with very small problems but now everything is unusable. I cannot receive nor use the menu/settings.

Registered, but it wouldnt even open to let me use it. Kept "failing to download from server"

I love this app but its moving too slow and it freezes! Please fix this for iPhone4

Met some cool people, clean interface and people actually want to learn and, not hook up. Love the fact that its so easy to use and, figure out. Well worth the year subscription as well. For everyone having issues, your problem is you have an iPhone 4 not the app. Upgrade your iPhone! The 4 is way outdated.

It awesome I talk to so many, by the way I read the comments dont use an iPhone4 I tired it already it and doesnt work do update your iPhone pleases of you wanna to make it work better

It was working so well before you guys updated it. Now I cant receive messages and it freezes all the time. Fix this!

Pls fix whatever you messed up with your update. I can barely do anything on the app now

1. I cant even log in now, and if I manage to, I get logged out within 2 seconds. 2. "Check Network Connection" pop-up even when other apps are connecting perfectly fine. The app is completely unusable now.

I was able to send pictures once or twice, but now it isnt letting me send or post pictures at all! Ive been trying to send pictures of my city, but it just isnt working.

Overall, its a great concept and theres a large community to choose from to help with learning languages. However, the moments part of the app is really slow. Pictures take forever to load and its just laggy in general. Fix that and this app would be perfect.

This application is really unique and carry a lot of tools and advantages for learning . You can learn and make friends at the same time
